Last Month Toyota India launched its SUV Fortuner in india. Toyota Fortuner is powered by 2.7 L VVD-I petrol engine or 3.0L Diesel engine. The petrol model of the vehicle delivers a maximum power output of 160PS @ 5200 rpm while the diesel version produces 163PS @ 3400 rpm. At the same time maximum torque is 241NM @ 3800rpm and 343 NM @ 1400 rpm for the petrol and diesel version respectively.

Other features of 2009 Toyota Fortuner includes fog lamps, parking sensors, auto vipers, auto headlamp and electronic adjustable mirror on bothsides. Toyota Fortuner also provides security with ABS and BA airbags. Toyota's SUV vehicle Fortuner has a seating capacity of seven. It comes with Four speed automatic gear box, four wheel drive, cruise control options.

Yamaha is going to introduce its superbike FZ1 in india to compete with the latest CBR1000RR Fireblade and CB1000R superbikes announced in india by Honda. Sources indicate that the ew Yamah FZ1 will hit the indian roads by 2010 Q1. This Yamaha FZ1 bike alsi belongs to the naked class bike to which the FZ16 belongs.

Yamaha FZ1 superbike is powered by 998cc 4-stroke, Forward-inclined parallel 4-cylinder, DOHC engine which delivers a macimum power output of 148 BHp @ 1100 rpm and a maximum torque of 106 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The Yamaha FZ1 superbike comes with 6 gear transmission.
Other features of Yamaha FZ1 includes Digital Speedometer, Low Fuel Indicator, Digital Fuel Guage, Analogue Tacho Meter, Digital-2 Trip Meter , Low Oil Indicator and Low Battery Indicator .

The Yamaha FZ1 superbike will be available in india in three different colours- Midnight Black, Silver Tech and Yellow. There is no reports about the pricing of the bike yet by the company.

Volkswagen L1 is the new automobile launched on last day at the 2009 Frankfurt autoshow. The main feature of the Volkswagen L1 is its 100KM fuel economy. Volkswagen L1 will be now the best fuel efficient car and will run on Diesel. Volkswagen L1 is expected to hit the roads by late 2010.

The Volkswagen L1 will be powered by 2 cylinder TDI diesel hybrid engine and features a seven-speed Direct Shift Gearbox. The company claims that the volkswagen L1 can attain a top speed of 160 KM/Hr and has an acceleration of 0 to 62 mph in 14.3 seconds.
